About Peace, Love and Little Donuts of the Strip District

In creating our Groovy, Far Out and Funkadelic flavors in the Steel City, we knew that we couldn't lose the incredible taste of our old fashion cake donut. With that in mind each donut was created so that with every bite you would taste our fresh, warm donut, the subtle flavor of our frostings and our crazy selection of Funkadelic toppings; with no one flavor overwhelming the others. All of our stores work hard to make sure that you enjoy those flavors as we intended them from the beginning in our donut shop in Pittsburgh, PA.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pittsburgh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It was a great shop. Even though there were a lot of people there, the service was extremely fast. The flavors are very unique there was even a flavor for dogs (no flavor for cats unfortunately though). The donuts are very small about the size of a tennis ball so you can get multiple to try different flavors. I tried the chocolate chip cookie dough and m&m one they were both good. They even gave us a four free cinnamon donuts which tasted like a churro. Five stars!

This place is amazing! You should go and get as many donuts as you can eat. They were all so good.

It's our second time having PLLD, but first time in this location. The moment we walked-in to the store, we were given free samples and the staff was nice. Their donuts, though small, are really delicious and unique. I love that there's plenty of flavors you can choose. The place itself is neat but is a tight, small area. Luckily it wasn't busy when we came in. Also, the s'mores flavor here is better than their Grove City location. This one put toasted marshmallows and bigger pieces of graham crackers, not just crushed ones. Soooo good! πŸ₯° It's definitely a must visit when you're in Pittsburgh and try something new and delicious!

What a fun experience! I absolutely love trying donuts from all over and this experience was unlike any I have had before. They literally dress the donut with toppings on the spot as soon as you order. UMM YES!!! Loved getting to watch all the creativity behind the counter. We got a 6 pack of a couple different kinds, my favorite was the dirt pie donut. Deliciously sweet πŸ˜‹ The staff were wonderful, super friendly and made the visit that much better. Definitely recommend! 10/10.

The space is really small to start with. But that is not that important since we only went in to grab donuts. The donuts itself do not taste good in my opinion and you can feel the oil in them. I like the concept and the variety, but the taste is not worth it for me.
